Strolling around through the winding streets and pretty alley's in authentic Oatmöske (Low Saxon) 🙂 The interesting mix of historic Hollandic and old Saxon architecture makes for a unique town in the Netherlands. If you like art, I don't think there is town with more art galleries per square meter. Ootmarsum is located North-eastern Twente which has been designated as a national landscape, due to its rolling landscape, which is incredibly varied thanks to an intricate combination of streams, ashes, enclosed fields and cultivated marshland. 0:00 The Cosy Walstraat 2:05 Keerweer - Kerklpein. The 13th Catholic Church is build in Westphalian Romano-Gothic style. It's the only one of it's kind in the Netherlands. 6:15 Het Pläske, with the 18th century Dutch Reformed church build in Neoclassical style. 7:45 Grotestraat - Schiltstraat 10:30 The beautiful Markt and Marktstraat 12:00 Sculture Garden 13:00 Gasthuisstraat. Such a nice little street 16:00 Kloosterstraat. 18:10 Back at the Kerkplein. Let's walk around the church :) 20:15 Ganzenmarkt. 22:48 Open air museum and a Watermill. 24:15 Othmar Beer Brewery.
