This story features Gipi, an abandoned village that's becoming a community, and... you? Driven by a desire for change, nature, and conviviality, Gipi purchased several homes with lots of land and a stream during the first lockdown in an abandoned village near Vernasca (Piacenza). The intent, dream, and vision is to create a 100% self-sufficient farming community. To achieve this dream, some spaces need to be renovated, animal shelters created (yes, in this community there are chickens, cows, and soon goats, sheep, and pigs! As a vegan, I can assure you that Gipi treats the animals as if they were his children), and the land needs to be cultivated (there are already several crops) without neglecting relationships and conviviality. Gipi is looking for people willing to invest their energy, time, and sweat to create this dream, which goes beyond the self and focuses on the "we." Not just people staying for 1-2 months, but people who want to put down roots in this magical place.
