"Viaggio nel Sud" is a series aired in 1958 about life in the regions and towns of southern Italy. In this episode, we are in Manfredonia, Puglia, in 1958. A farmhouse in Puglia, interviews with women during the grape harvest about their projects. Macchiarotonda, a farm. Herding cattle, interviews with shepherds who no longer practice transhumance, and the women and men who work on the farm: daily life, meals, and evenings in front of the television. The day off of a worker who returns to rest in Manfredonia, a town undergoing rebirth, and who recounts his life and introduces his family.
