Fig Variety Review: Black Tuscan
Black Tuscan is another Black Madeira type fig variety. It has grown slow for me this year, which is typical of the Black Madeira types, and I had to end up putting it in my grow room in order to get a fig to ripen. My tree was in its first year, so that likely contributed to the lateness this year. Since the fruit was ripened in my grow room its not a great representation of typical fruit quality on the east coast.
