Contact between the racket and the ball can occur below or at waist height. The ball must land in the opponent's service box, located diagonally opposite. Importantly, the ball cannot bounce off the steel net located near the center of the court immediately after contact. A game begins with a serve from the right side, then alternates between the left and right sides. The team chosen by lottery using a coin toss begins. The serving team then changes each game. A faulty serve can be repeated once without losing a point. »Court The padel court is 20 meters long and 10 meters wide. It is surrounded by glass and a steel net, which are important elements of the game. The entire structure is 4 meters high. After a successful serve, during a rally, any ball hit into the opponent's court must first bounce off the court on their side. Only then may it bounce off the glass or steel net. Contact with the ground is allowed only once on one side of the court. Volleyball, or a direct hit from the air, is permitted.
