If you were under the impression there’s not a lot happening on the banks of the Clyde, here’s something to make you think again. A new video produced by the City Council, which was given its premiere to an audience of international investors at the recent MIPIM property conference in Cannes, details the massively impressive list of developments which are about to re-invigorate Glasgow’s waterfront and surrounding areas. The film shows that Glasgow, for the first time in many decades, is about to again become a city “on the river” and not “by the river”. It traces a journey starting at the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District Scotland near Glasgow Airport and ending at Clyde Gateway, which is transforming the East End.
