This Low Rider ST Fast Johnny Edition is getting a full performance overhaul, and today’s focus is on correcting major wear in the steering head. The neck bearing races were completely notched out from being too loose, causing chatter and instability—so we replace everything, grease the bearings properly, and get the front end ready for assembly. Once the steering head is refreshed, we move into installing the beautifully machined Thrashin Supply triple trees, setting the bike up for a taller, more aggressive stance—especially with the upcoming 21-inch front wheel setup. Next, we rebuild the inverted fork legs with new Harley-Davidson seals and bushings before dropping in the Legends suspension cartridges, dialing in a major improvement in ride quality, damping, and performance for the Low Rider ST platform. We also show details on cartridge installation, proper fork oil weights, and how this setup will transform the handling of the Fast Johnny ST as the build continues toward a full Skynet wheel and performance front end finish.
