Signs and symptoms - Classic triad 1 Amenorrhoea 2 Abdominal pain 3 Vaginal bleeding Others include- Check vitals to rule out hypotension, tachycardia, and pallor, the features of shock. Per abdominal examination - Bluish discoloration around umbilicus- Cullen's sign Tense, tender, and rigid abdomen. Muscle guarding could be present. Bimanual examination- Uterus normal in size Cervical motion tenderness Boggy felt through the posterolateral fornix Adnexal mass palpable Vaginal mucosa blanched Diagnosis- 1. Beta hCG 2. TVS Others include- 1. Laparotomy 2. Laparoscopy 3. Dilatation and curettage 4. Serum progesterone 5.
