Singer, songwriter, and Canadian icon Steven Page has made an indelible impression on our country's bustling music scene as well as its cultural landscape. With 3 solo albums under his belt The Vanity Project, Page One and A Singer Must Die (with the Art of Time Ensemble) as well as the 2012 EP release A Different Sort of Solitude. The co-founder and former lead singer of the Barenaked Ladies is busy -- entertaining audiences, touring with his new band, writing songs and composing for film and theatre. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
