Dali, China: The One Place I Was Not Ready to Leave 🏔️

This is Day 2 & 3 of my 10-day solo journey across Yunnan, China—and we have finally arrived in the beautiful valley of Dali! After a fast-paced bullet train ride from Kunming, I used the local Amap to navigate my way up to Cai Village. The moment I checked into my hotel and looked out the window, I knew this place was going to be special. Surrounded by the towering peaks of the Cangshan Mountains on one side and the endless expanse of Erhai Lake on the other, Dali is the perfect aesthetic reset. From exploring the 1,200-year-old history of the ancient town to cycling along the peaceful shores of Erhai Lake at sunset and sharing stories with the locals over street-side skewers, this day was all about pure freedom. The adventure is just getting started—up next, we are heading further north to Lijiang, taking on the legendary hike through Tiger Leaping Gorge, and finally reaching the highlands of Shangri-La. You won't want to miss what's coming. ⚡️ Connect with me: 📸 / hriddha_prassad 📧 [email protected] ▶️ Related keywords: #dali #chinatravel #yunnantravel #yunnanchina #erhailak #cangshan #solotravel #travelvlog #solotraveler #bangladeshivlogger #cinematicvibes #arielfootage
