I usually play on long lifespan, but at the moment all aging is disabled and I'm handling birthdays manually to better suit our story. 2. I have neighbourhood stories turned on generally, but disabled for all active households - this means everyone living outside of our story is still progressing, but nobody in this story will suddenly be adopting a horse whilst living in an apartment lol. 3. I use the Home Regions mod by Kuttoe (linked below) to keep everyone restricted to the worlds they live in, but within this save anybody living in Oasis Springs, Chestnut Ridge, and Strangerville are free to travel between those worlds - creating the wider Oasis Springs area.
