A MUST HAVE / How to Install an Oil Catch Can - Mishimoto 2 Port Catch Can | 1995 Ford F150
Don’t let blow by oil gunk up your engine. Install an oil catch can to capture this blow by and keep it from clogging your throttle body, intake plenum, and ultimately fouling your pistons. You can install an oil catch can on any type of car. They are typically installed in the PCV (positive crank case vent) or CCV (crank case vent) systems. New and old cars can benefit from oil catch cans, especially forced induction engines I.e. turbo and superchargers. So save your engines performance and efficiency and install an oil catch can. #f150 #bronco #oilcatchcan Link below for the oil catch can and hose:👇 https://www.mishimoto.com/compact-baf... https://www.mishimoto.com/universal-c... This 1995 Ford F150 needs an oil catch can because the 5.0L/302 blows oil through the CCV hose that connects to the Y collector at the intake. This oil has been fouling up the throttle body ports, the throttle plates, and the IAC valve (Idle Air Control). This oil can also foul the EGR too. Installing an oil catch can between the valve cover and the Y collector eliminates this oil. #obsford #fordf150 #diy ⏰ Time Stamps: 0:00 Intro Welcome to The Minute Masters YouTube Channel where I (Stevie) show you how to repair and upgrade all Ford F series trucks and Broncos from 1980-1997.
