Oiwi 'E

Kia Ora! Aloha! Oiwi 'E is the Hawaiian version of the Maori song E Nga Iwi. It is the second part of a medley put together by Song Across Hawai'i that also includes Island Style, and it is one of my all time favorite videos. My hula friends wanted to try something that incorporates a Maori influence so we decided to give this a try. All instruments, ukulele, guitar, bass, ipu and ipu heke were done by the Play, Pick 'n Strum virtual band, with vocals provided by the dancers.
