In the fourth episode of series 7, Adam Klimek embarks on a 30-hour journey to the Bieszczady Mountains, where Robert awaits help with his first-generation VW Sharan with a 1.9 TDI engine and over 400,000 km on the clock. The problem is seemingly straightforward – after replacing the turbocharger, the car lost power and refuses to accelerate properly. The turbocharger is under warranty, the computers show no faults, and subsequent mechanics have replaced parts without success. Adam takes the Sharan to the workshop and quickly realizes that the situation is more complex than the report suggests. Along the way, another unexpected problem arises – stuck rear brakes that refuse to release after a night of frost. The mechanics check the fuel system, manifold tightness, exhaust flow, and turbocharger parameters – all one by one. Each of these paths leads nowhere.
