VW T2 Bay ARB Awning installation *NO DRILLING REQUIRED*

After loads of VW T2 Bay Window camper van owners asking us if we could do an ARB awning and kit for their vans, we finally got this job ticked off the to do list. Hang on, it gets better… We can also hook you up with add on rooms with or without a built in floor and add on side wind breaks. We got fed up with all of the plastic caravan stuff that is currently available for our vans and offer something more deserving. Specifically designed for harsh Outback conditions, the awnings are rugged but lightweight, and provide fast and convenient protection from the elements. Shade cover manufactured from 300gsm PU coated poly/cotton ripstop canvas to ensure that the awning is both waterproof and UV protected. Self standing awning takes 30 seconds to deploy. Awning is secured in a heavy duty nylon reinforced PVC bag. Mounts easily to the side of most roof racks or roof bars as well as our custom made gutter mount fitting kit. The Awning height is adjustable with telescopic legs. When using in wet weather it is good practise to make sure you set one of the legs lower than the other to allow the rain to run off. Please note this kit will not work on vans that have their rain gutters filled with fibre glass or sealant like some high top models, so please check before buying. Fitment note for Danbury vans. These brackets do fit your van despite us thinking they may not in the past. Really sorry about this but we had a customer swing by so we could work the fitment out. You just need to lift the roof when fitting and adjust the catch adjustment screw with a couple of turns, as shown in the gallery images.
