The project balances preservation and contemporary intervention, restoring traditional façade elements while introducing warm natural materials, a compact private garden, and a lofted tatami sleeping space, ultimately transforming a modest terrace house into a layered, light-sensitive dwelling that celebrates both history and material honesty.
