Neuerung bei der Bahn: Schnellere Auskunft bei Verspätungen & co

For years, many train passengers have been frustrated by the fact that they often receive too little or no information about delays, cancellations, or platform changes. Deutsche Bahn has therefore repeatedly faced criticism. Now, the railway company is launching a nationwide emergency program to improve communication with passengers. Artificial intelligence and a digital assistant, available around the clock in over 100 languages, are intended to provide faster and more reliable notification of delays and cancellations. To this end, Deutsche Bahn is installing 7,000 new display boards at train stations throughout Germany – including smaller stations. Some of these boards can even read the information aloud, which is particularly helpful for passengers who cannot read everything at first glance. With this new program, Deutsche Bahn is improving the provision of information; train punctuality will remain unaffected. ─────────────────── SAT.1 NRW – Live at 5:30 PM The regional program for North Rhine-Westphalia with Bastian Wiedenhaupt and Marc Hillen.
