Landscape Photography In Swiss Mountains

Landscape photography in a high alpine world including overnight stay in the tent. Magnificent mountain panoramas, crisp air, clouds, fog and the golden autumn sun made a great mix for landscape photography and camping. Being able to stay overnight at high altitude has the great advantage to be already on location for the best light at sunset and sunrise - without having to start hiking in the middle of the night. Nothing comes for free though. I paid for this luxury with a pretty heavy backpack. After a magnificent sunset and an unexpectedly frosty night at 2500m, the sunrise was rather uninspiring from a photographic point of view (clear sky), but more than welcome for the frozen bones.
