A high-level delegation from South Sudan’s ruling party, the Sudan People's Liberation Movement, or SPLM, is in China for a 10-day visit. South Sudan gained its independence from Sudan in 2011. In this edition of “High-Talk”, Zhong Shi interviews Peter Lam, secretary general of SPLM who leads the visiting delegation. Mr. Lam spoke about South Sudan's challenges, collaboration with the Communist Party of China, and relations between China and the African continent.
