Located along National Route 128 in Takeoka, Futtsu City, is Nico Nico Drive-In, the birthplace of Takeoka Ramen. I've been curious about it for a while, and finally decided to give it a try! They open at 9 AM with a full lineup, and the menu is called "Fresh Fish Dishes Nico Nico Drive-In." They've also had sashimi, but this time I tried the local char siu ramen and fried horse mackerel. This was my first time trying this combination! It really has a Showa-era vibe, I love it! The ramen is also incredible, and the fried horse mackerel is to die for. You'll need rice...lol.
