Powerboat Instructor Laura Smith, Outward Bound RYA Scotland Impact Awards.

Since Outward Bound reopened through after Covid, Laura Smith has placed considerable energy, commitment and dedication into her RYA roles, as RYA principal and Powerboat Instructor at Loch Eil Centre. Laura has made an impact on over fifty staff through the RYA Powerboat training she set up, ensuring that water sports activities were enabled, adventure leaders were confident and in turn over 5000 young people got afloat in a variety of activities at the centre over the last year. The RYA Scotland Impact Awards aim to recognise that value of those people over the coming season with a series of awards throughout the boating community in Scotland.
