Pennzoil UP 5W-30: The Oil That’s Too Good To Be True? I'm about to find out of this is a true statement. Time to test it! Oil Test #3 | Pennzoil UP 5w-30 | 2009 Turbo Corolla | Testing By "The Motor Oil Geek" This is the 3rd and final test with Pennzoil Ultra Platinum on my 2009 Turbo Corolla and after testing 0w-20, this will be using 5w-30 to see how it performs. Tests 4-6 will be testing Amsoil Signature Series in both 0w-20 and 5w-30. This oil has over 4k miles on it from North Carolina back to WA State. Lake Speed, aka "The Motor Oil Geek" will be doing the oil testing on both this car and my 2023 GR Corolla to see which oil each engine liked the most.
