Suzuki Swift S1400 rally car Tom Walster 2015

Our 2015 BTRDA contender was a very different car to our 2014 one. This ran a 1400 Vauxhall engine revving to 9000rpm and had very close gear ratios. The Wyedean rally we were instantly on the pace until differential problems forced us to retire from 2nd o/all. The Malcolm Wilson Rally the car felt great but an ambitious cut meant it damaged the radiator causing retirement from 3rd o/all. The Somerset Stages we really wanted to prove the potential of the car and team. We had a few set backs throughout the day but a puncture put a real dent to the times. With it all to do on the last stage, a big crash ruined any chances of a good result. With thanks again to Special Stage for the footage.
