This tournament offers support, which is rare in Japan, and offers recommended participation in world-ranking tournaments and opportunities to practice with Nishioka. The activity support fund awarded to the winner of the tournament, which was ¥1 million in the inaugural year, has been increased to ¥4 million thanks to generous support. The funds will be used for future travel expenses, coaching fees, and other expenses. We plan to continue supporting Japanese athletes for the next five to ten years, and we plan to further increase participation slots and funding in the future, creating a stepping stone for junior players.
