FIRST ALERT: Winter storm to hit the Las Vegas Valley Thursday & Friday

A winter storm is set to bring widespread rain, mountain snow, and gusty winds to Southern Nevada, prompting First Alert weather days on Thursday and Friday. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the Spring Mountains from 10 p.m. Wednesday through 4 p.m. Friday. Mt. Charleston and Lee Canyon could see 1 to 2 feet of fresh snow, with strong winds creating hazardous travel conditions Thursday and Friday.
