Benedictines of Mary Queen of Apostles
Sister Wilhelmina Lancaster, whose body was recently found incorrupt, was the foundress of Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles. The singing nuns, have released several albums; four of their albums have topped the charts. The cloistered nuns live and farm in rural Missouri. The community of women range in age from 18 to 92. They have chosen to come away from the world and spend their days working in silence-- except for when they are singing sacred music. These are women are seeking a conversion of life. “We are in a sense reaching back through time and conserving that way of life for the future” Mother Cecilia said. The Benedictine way of life has given the church thousands of saints. Learn more at karenpulferfocht.com//// karenpulferfocht.com/blog/benedictines-of-mary-queen-of-the-apostles.
