Polishing My Stainless-Steel Kitchen Sink

Bringing my old dull kitchen sink back to life: I bought a new DA (Dual Action) polisher, pads and a tube of Autosol, none of which I had used before, and I set about polishing the sink. This video shows how I went about it, warts 'n' all and by the end of the job, not only did I have a gleaming 'new' sink, but I learnt a few new skills about how to handle the polisher, applying the polish, what pads to use, how many are required and the cleaning of them etc. All in all a great learning curve with a fantastic end result. The APC I used was Meguire's D10101 Detailer All Purpose Cleaner, but in all honesty unless you have this already, I wouldn't recommend buying it which is what I did. I say this as it cost me £29.99 for 3.79 litres, you do dilute it though, so in the long run it is economical, especially as I plan to use it for my cars/van. But, and it's a big but, I can't say that it did a very good job at cleaning these pads soiled with Autosol plus contaminants. Even worse is the fact I reckon the ECOVER Concentrated Non Bio Zero Laundry Detergent I used on Day 1, while waiting for the APC to be delivered, worked just as well and probably better. I keep the ECOVER Zero laundry detergent in, as I use it to hand wash all my microfibre cloths.
