This video was recorded on 2020/08/20. North Point Station is an intermediate station of Island Line and the terminus of Tseung Kwan O Line. This station was built in 1985 for the Island Line and expanded in 2001 for the Kwun Tong Line due to limited capacity for interchange at Quarry Bay station. Later in 2002, the Kwun Tong Line has moved terminus and the Tseung Kwan O Line took over. Although this station offers cross-platform interchange, the distance between the platform is around 40 metres. People often rush to their trains.
