Enrique Piñeyro speaks with Adrián Krmpotic, leader of the Revolutionary People’s Organization (ORP), an insurgent armed group that in 1996 organized a covert operation to detain Jorge Bergés. Bergés was a physician convicted for assisting in the childbirth of detained and disappeared women during Argentina’s last military dictatorship and for the illegal appropriation of their children. The attempted detention led by Krmpotic ultimately turned into an attempt on Bergés’ life.
