On Devaloop’s LP “From the Bits to the Cosmos” on the song “Nino Senja”. It featured instrumental production by Devaloop and vocal and lyrical performance by Ryler. In the approximate time period between 2018 and 2020 both artists worked extensively on various tracks for a collaborative LP-project. Exclusive production and compositions by Devaloop and vocal and lyrical performances conducted by Ryler. With Devaloop living from Vienna, Austria and Ryler residing in Zurich, Switzerland the two met in person during a short visit by Devaloop to the Swiss city. A fruitful professional relationship and friendship has blossomed over the years and during the creation of the LP “Eternal Dreams” containing 15 tracks due for digital and physical release in summer 2021. Ryler wrote: “The song is called “Doors” and, for both us, is one of our favorite joints of the album. I wrote the lyrics a few years ago during a dark time in my life, where I lacked perspective and understanding of myself as a person and as an artist. Hearing the beat immediately captivated how I felt at that time. Lyrically this song dwelves into leaving behind all those feelings of unhappiness, of frustration, of not having a sense of direction in life, while still trying to hold on to that last little bit of hope to find new happiness again and to move on to greener pastures. It’s a song about moving on, about leaving those feelings behind. A long corridor full of doors on each side, gateways to insecurities and unhappiness, behind which those demons await.
