Released in 2014 but no longer available for purchase new, the Roland TD-1KV is an affordable entry-level electric drum set that can be safely purchased used. Here I provide tips on the buying and testing process for a used TD-1KV, then provide details on its assembly, and then finally play it! With its advanced geometry and unusual arcs, Mr. T says, "I pity the fool that tries to assemble this drum set without instructions!"
