Recreación Histórica Villa de El Bosque, el Documental

Every November, El Bosque travels back in time to relive the days when an entire town rose up against Napoleon's troops. But this is not just a story of war and resistance. It is the story of how a group of residents decided to rescue their past and transform it into a living legacy: the El Bosque Historical Reenactment. This documentary narrates the origin and evolution of one of the most emblematic reenactments in Andalusia, promoted by the El Bosque Historical-Cultural Association. A project born from the enthusiasm of a few people who dreamed of restoring their town's history and ended up creating an event recognized both within and beyond the province of Cádiz. Over the years, the association has grown, researched, and shaped a performance that combines history, culture, and emotion. Every costume, every scene, every gesture… is the fruit of the collective effort of a town that unites to pay homage to its roots. This documentary is a tribute to everyone who made this reenactment possible: those who built sets, sewed costumes, directed scenes, or simply applauded from the streets. Because without them, this story wouldn't exist.
