When we see the athletes participate in the various Olympic sports, it’s easy to think that they have a mountain of cash to go along with representing their country. After all, Usain Bolt is worth millions. However, that’s often not the case. In fact, some of the athletes’ salaries mean they’re financially struggling. Today, we’re going to look at the history and facts of the Olympics and the rewards that some countries pay for their athletes to find a place on the podium. Now for the spoiler paragraph.
