School-Link: Caring for the mental health needs of children and young people
School-Link (School-Link) is an intiative between NSW Health and the Department of Education and Communities (DEC) to work together to improve the mental health, wellbeing and resilience of children and young people in NSW. The Initiative equips school and TAFE staff to more confidently identify and manage emerging mental health issues in their students and to strengthen their understanding of where to refer young people for the help they need. Contact School-Link Coordinators in Hunter New England Local Health District by emailing [email protected].
