In 2018 I set a goal to cross its width by canoe. From the Labrador Sea to Hudson Bay it was an estimated 1700 kilometre journey that would last 83 days. With only my dog Saku, I would travel, up and down remote rivers, across enormous lakes, and over portages that were littered with both beauty and danger. We would witness and camp in wilderness that few, if any, have ever seen and rewind back to a time when life was simpler. Along the way I filmed our experiences.
