In this fishing series called "Down the coast", we begin from Goa and then cover some unique fishing unique locations down the Konkan coast of Goa and Maharashtra - bays, estuaries, offshore reefs and islands and much more. We had fun fishing among the beautiful remote islands of Goa (Grand island & Bat Island). The islands are located just off Vasco, Goa. Surrounded by coral reefs, the islands are a refuge for many species of fish. South of Grand Island is an ancient underwater wreck now used as a dive site. Found some fantastic reefs & fishing spots for jigging, popping and spinning. Fish caught here range from Grouper, Trevally (GTs), Red snapper, Queenfish and barracuda. We fish responsibly and practise catch & release.
