The Right Way - A Short Film by FilmLab Students

*What can a group of young filmmakers accomplish in just 10 days?* This short film is the result of the creativity, dedication, and teamwork of the FilmLab girls group, made up of primarily middle school students, with one high school participant (ages 12–17). Over the course of just two weeks, these aspiring filmmakers learned the complete filmmaking process—from developing a story idea and writing the script to storyboarding, casting, filming, editing, and completing the final film you see here. Taking a film from concept to completion in only 10 days is no small feat. FilmLab is about more than learning how to use cameras and editing software. It's about empowering young people to tell meaningful stories, collaborate as a team, think creatively, and use filmmaking to make a positive impact. We hope this experience is just the first step in each student's journey as a storyteller and filmmaker.
