Solidarios | Redes de protección para la infancia y la adolescencia

“Solidarios” focuses on the protection and well-being of children and adolescents through initiatives that provide support, shelter, and violence prevention. The program explores the youth mentoring project of the Albores Association, which connects university students with high school students in vulnerable areas to promote positive role models and emotional education. It also analyzes the increase in minors in the child protection system and the work carried out by SOS Children's Villages to guarantee safe family environments and preserve sibling bonds. Furthermore, it addresses a report by the NGO Educo on the gap between protection laws and the reality experienced by children and adolescents facing violence. The program concludes with recognition of the report “Temporeras y emprendedoras” (Seasonal Workers and Entrepreneurs), awarded for its social perspective and its advocacy for working women.
