Kardzhali (Кърджали) - the city between two lakes, filmed with a drone

Location: https://goo.gl/maps/DGR4w76b3gt and https://goo.gl/maps/qUxNJ64wMxy I know, it is a very short video of part of Kardzhali, we had been rained on the whole weekend and our time was scarce, so this was the only part i was able to capture. Of course there will be next time, when a longer video will reveal more of this interesting city in the heart of the amazing Rhodope mountains. Kardzhali is situated on this beautiful location between two large dam lakes on the river Arda, and the panoramic shots reveal both lakes. Between two rains we raised the drone to take a good look of the wall of the dam. It is always breathtaking to see a massive wall holding an immense amount of water staying so high in mountain. From the wall, down the river we moved closer to the city to a church called St. John (Sveti Yoan Predtecha), right next to the river, which in this part is formed into a channel, called the Water Mirror (Vodno Ogledalo), and its purpose is ability to handle emergency release of water streams from the dams in case of overflowing.
