The Internet Told Me Not To Buy This! | Ayaneo Pocket Air Mini

The AYANEO Pocket Air Mini has developed quite a reputation in the retro handheld community. Between the typical Ayaneo premium pricing, shipping controversies, customer service complaints, and reports of screen ghosting, this little Android handheld arrived with more baggage than most devices ever do. In this video I'm putting the AYANEO Pocket Air Mini through its paces with everything from Game Boy and Mega Drive to Dreamcast, Nintendo 64, PlayStation and even Sega Saturn. Running GammaOS Next and testing a range of systems, I wanted to find out whether this compact 4:3 retro handheld is actually fun to play games on, or if the internet had already made its mind up before anyone picked one up. This isn't my usual type of video. Normally on Backlog or Bin, I'm digging through old games from my ever-growing backlog, but I thought it'd be fun to put my own spin on a handheld review and see where the Pocket Air Mini fits into my gaming setup. šŸ“¦ Device purchased from: https://aknes.com/products/ayaneo-poc... 🌐 My website: https://borb.uk Chapters: 00:00 Intro 00:50 What is the Pocket Air Mini? 01:50 The Ayaneo elephant in the room 03:46 Unboxing 05:29 GammaOS Next 06:30 Dreamcast 07:05 Game Gear, Game Boy & GBA 08:12 Mega Drive 08:45 Nintendo 64 and NES 09:34 PlayStation and SNES 10:10 Sega Saturn and upcoming BorB games 11:38 Backlog or Bin? #AYANEO #PocketAirMini #RetroHandheld #RetroGaming #Emulation #AndroidGaming #GammaOS #RetroHandhelds #GameBoy #Dreamcast #PS1 #SegaSaturn #Nintendo64 #BacklogOrBin
