Irrigar é preciso?
It used to be believed that in traditional Arabica coffee production areas, irrigation wasn't necessary, as it was thought to be economically unprofitable. However, this situation has changed today. With technology becoming more accessible to those with available water, we can now say that the investment pays off. The biggest indicator of this is the growth of irrigated areas, especially in the South of Minas Gerais and Mogiana regions. Now, after the start of the rainy season, I believe it's the ideal time to address this issue. After all, have irrigated crops shown better results than rainfed crops? Another question is: has the climate changed or has technology evolved? Together with the Netafim team, I will answer these and other questions. With this, I continue my mission of providing important knowledge so that coffee growers can make the best decisions for their coffee crops. #coffeefarmertalk #coffeefarming #agriculture
