Ingredients: 1 kg strip roast (beef) 400 g wheat 1 carrot 1 celery 1 turnip 400 g of pumpkin 1 potato Fresh oregano sprigs Instructions: 1. In a large pot, add the 3 liters of water and bring to a boil. 2. Add the meat cut into equal parts and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes with the pot covered. 3. After time, add the wheat previously washed and soaked overnight. Cook over low heat for 30 minutes with the pot covered. 4. Meanwhile, finely chop the leek, celery, pumpkin, carrot and potato. 5. After 50 minutes of cooking, add a sprig of fresh oregano and the potatoes to the pot. Cook covered for 8 more minutes. 6. Add the chopped vegetables to the pot and stir well. 7. Add salt to taste and stir to dissolve completely. 8. Cover the pot and cook for a final 10 minutes so that the flavors merge. 9. Serve hot in deep plates and sprinkle with cilantro and finely chopped fresh parsley.
