How To Set Timing in Jeep CJ & YJ - Quick and Easy!
Set the timing in your Jeep CJ or YJ in less than 5 minutes. Timing light not required--we do this the old fashioned way! Any Jeep with the 4.2L or 258ci inline 6 engine will be identical--this includes CJ7, CJ5, J10, Wagoner, and YJ Wranglers up to model year 1989. Similar process also works for any carbureted engine.
