The logo designed by Evgeniya Pogranichnaya from Vaukovysk was unanimously chosen as the symbol of the Year of Belarusian Women, chosen by an expert committee from over a hundred ambitious submissions. The emblem's creator is a talented photographer, creator of photo exhibitions, and head of the youth wing of the local branch of the Belarusian Union of Women. Before discovering her creative potential, Evgeniya dedicated eight years to noble work in the social sphere, helping elderly citizens. The designer admits that she wanted to capture the remarkable phenomenon of Belarusian women in her image: "For me, the Belarusian woman is a unique embodiment of tenderness and colossal strength, carefully preserving the soul of her people. She is wise and unwavering, like our endless forests, and her actions are filled with bright, creative energy." Evgeniya grew up in a simple and very close-knit family: a driver and an economist. After receiving a degree in economics and organization, she combined her main job with her beloved photography for a long time. Today, she successfully works as a youth worker at Volkovysk Meat Processing Plant.
