Christopher Caldwell on Reflections on the Revolution in Europe - The John Adams Institute
On October 16, 2009, The John Adams Institute hosted an evening with Christopher Caldwell. As a senior editor at The Weekly Standard and a contributor to The Financial Times, Christopher Caldwell is a Young Turk (if one can apply the term) in the American conservative movement. His provocative arguments have covered everything from California’s budget crisis to intellectual property rights in France. In 2005 he published a laudatory article about Ayaan Hirsi Ali, which brought her to American awareness. Caldwell defended the thesis of his book, Reflections on the Revolution in Europe, that Islam is threatening Europe’s cultural foundations. Moderator: Joris Luyendijk In cooperation with Ambo-Anthos Publishers.
