Its diverse beaches and coastal towns invite tourists from all over the world to enjoy the sun, the sea, and breathtaking landscapes. First on the list is Caxias Beach. Located in Oeiras, about a 20-minute drive from Lisbon, Caxias Beach is perfect for those seeking a refuge near the capital. With a tranquil stretch of sand and generally calm waters, it's an excellent option for families or for those who want to relax away from the hustle and bustle. The second beach on the list is Tarquínio-Paraíso Beach. Tarquínio-Paraíso Beach is located on the Costa da Caparica, just a 20-minute drive from Lisbon, and it's one I really like. It's a calm beach with clear waters and some waves, depending on the day. Even on the busiest days, it's easy to find a space to relax and enjoy the day. Now, speaking a little more about the Cascais region, in third place on the list we have Avencas Beach, one of my favorites. Located in Parede, approximately a 30-minute drive from Lisbon. With an intimate atmosphere, this beach stands out for its cliffs, which make you forget you're in the Lisbon metropolitan area. There's also a natural pool and a restaurant with a great sea view. Fourth place is Rainha Beach, one of the most accessible in Cascais. Rainha Beach is located in Cascais, about a 35-minute drive from Lisbon. A beach with crystal-clear, calm, and cold waters. It's quite small and located right within the city, which makes finding a good place to eat easy! A more urban option in Cascais is Praia do Forte de Santa Marta. It's one of the most photogenic beaches in the entire metropolitan area of the capital. The beach is located under a bridge and behind some buildings, including the Forte de Santa Marta. Its waters are crystal clear and perfect for children because it's very shallow and U-shaped. It's a very beautiful and urban beach. Also in Cascais, we have the sixth beach on the list, Praia da Ribeira. Located in the center of Cascais, it's a small and urban beach, perfect for those who want to enjoy the sea without leaving the city environment. Surrounded by bars and restaurants, it's a great choice for those who like to combine a refreshing swim with a gastronomic stroll. In seventh place on the list is Adraga Beach. Located in Sintra, about a 45-minute drive from Lisbon, Adraga Beach is famous for its natural beauty. Surrounded by dramatic cliffs and impressive rock formations, it's perfect for those seeking a stunning and tranquil setting. Its waters are a bit rough, but the view is worth it. The last two beaches on our list are in Setúbal: Figueirinha Beach and Galapinhos Beach. Figueirinha Beach is located in Setúbal, about a 45-minute drive from Lisbon. It's a beach with golden sands and crystal-clear waters, ideal for those seeking an accessible and beautiful retreat. One of the striking features of Figueirinha Beach is its extensive stretch of sand, offering enough space for everyone. Galapinhos Beach is located within the Serra da Arrábida Natural Park, in Setúbal, about a 50-minute drive from Lisbon. Stunningly beautiful, this paradisiacal beach has been voted one of the most beautiful in Europe. The beach is protected and preserved, providing a tranquil and special environment. It is only accessible by foot trails or boat, and is the perfect place to enjoy Portugal's hidden nature. I hope you enjoyed this video and that you add one of these beaches to your next trip to Portugal! ----------- ABOUT VIDA CIGANA: We are Larissa and Carlos, professional travelers who dedicate all our time to visiting and revisiting destinations, bringing you the most complete tips.
