A Sudoku Recommended By One Of The All-Time Greats
** TODAY'S PUZZLE ** Tonight we have a debut on the channel for Sven-Ole Behrend and his sudoku, Disorienting Hits. This has been recommended to us by none other than Marty Sears (who knows a thing or two about this ruleset too, given he invented it!) And, as we should expect, this is rather wonderful. Not too difficult but with some absolutely lovely logic to discover. Play the puzzle at the links below: https://sudokupad.app/31wnj4k03o Rules: Normal sudoku rules apply. If two digits are separated by a black dot then one is double the other. Beige Lines are hitlines: Digits along a hitline do not repeat. One end of a hitline (to be determined by the solver) is the starting point. The digit N in the starting point indicates that exactly N digits along that hitline match their position along the hitline, counting from the starting point. Eg: A valid hitline of length 6 could be given by: 4 - 2 - 3 - 9 - 5 - 6, where 4 is the starting point of the hitline (as the 2,3,5 and 6 are in the 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th position respectively). ▶ NEW MERCHANDISE INCLUDING RAT RUN GOODIES ◀ https://cracking-the-cryptric-shop.fo... ** LAST NIGHT'S BLUE PRINCE STREAM ** Here at 10pm UK time: https://youtube.com/live/uEai18xhxoA ▶ SIMON & MARK ATTEMPT BLUE PRINCE: THE SUDOKU ◀ This new epic (and epically long) video is now on Patreon (as well as our monthly sudoku hunt competition by Sandra & Nala).
