Wild Camping and Campfire Cooking in a Bluebell Gorge in the Brecon Beacons
I first camped here 40-45 years ago and have been back quite a few times. It's up a gorge in the southern Brecon Beacons and just a couple of miles from the car. In this video, I'll show you the best way to setup your campfire to get a controlled space for cooking without the risk of burning your food. You'll also get a quick look at my hammock setup for camping in the woods. I much prefer this to pitching a tent on the top of a mountain. Much more comfortable and much easier to have a campfire for cooking (which I love). Mentions in this video. Both of these guys have re-kindled my love of wild camping Paul Messner / @paulmessner Ryan & Toby @wildaboutwales
