Unlocking AMOS's Secret Superpower

Today we're going to look at a somewhat under-used feature within AMOS that can, with the right skills allow you to speed up the performance of your program without hoping the AMOS compiler will do the job. To do this, we're going to look at the Machine Code functions, and writing some short snippets of code in assembly language, assembling them, and comparing the performance difference. This is obviously something you'd only want to do for very time critical things, as otherwise you might as well not use AMOS at all. 🔵 If you'd like to help me continue making videos, then pop over to Patreon, or send me a 'tip' via Ko-Fi! 👉 Patreon:   / robsmithdev   👉 Ko-Fi: https://ko-fi.com/robsmithdev 👉 Discord:   / discord   👉 Check out https://retro.directory 👉 Check out my games at https://robsmith-dev.itch.io 👉 Check out https://robsmithdev.co.uk 📖 Chapters (00:00) What's the Plan?
