Asians Can Ball

Had an incredible weekend at the AMAZN HQ All-Star Showcase at Fountain Valley High School. Two days surrounded by some of the most talented young Asian and AAPI high school senior hoopers in the country. Getting to work with them, watch them compete, just being in that space with them. This is something I didn't have growing up, so to see how far the sport has come and the level of talent that's out here now, I was genuinely impressed. And so grateful that there's a stage like this for these athletes to be seen. One thing I kept coming back to all weekend: there is enough space for everybody. This isn't about Asian athletes competing for one or two spots. It's about building together, supporting each other, and making the game bigger for everyone who comes after us, it's something I believe in deeply. Big shoutout to Pranav Iyer and the whole AMAZN HQ team for building something like this. And shoutout to the entire community that showed up to support the next generation.
